By installing SP Takegawa's High Comp Piston Kit, the engine power and torque will be increased and the crankshaft will be subjected to more torsion and deflection.
SP Takegawa recommends to install the crankshaft support adapter at the same time in order to reduce the load on the crankshaft.
The Crankshaft Support Adaptor adds ball bearing support to the end of the flywheel side of the crankshaft to reduce twisting and deflection and to increase the durability of the crankshaft.
